Validating Clean Rooms in a Sandbox Org

To verify query results, test your clean room packages, configurations, and data mappings in a Developer or Developer Pro Data 360 sandbox. When the query run yields expected results, deploy the mapped templates from a sandbox org to a production org.

          Required Editions

          Available in:

If you create a Data 360 sandbox after clean rooms are set up in production, the clean room packages and mapped templates are replicated in the sandbox. However, clean room collaborations aren’t replicated in the sandbox.

To initiate your clean room configuration in the sandbox, deploy a clean room package.

          Note
Note If you're installing a Clean Room package in a sandbox org, replacelogin.salesforce.com with test.salesforce.comin the package install link to avoid authentication failures.

If you’re collaborating with a known partner, allowlist their sandbox org ID. You can collaborate with allowlisted orgs without a clean room package. You can't initiate a collaboration to a production org from a sandbox and vice versa. Ensure both orgs are of the same type (both sandbox or both production) before setting up a collaboration. If you’re a provider, use two sandbox orgs to validate your clean room configuration.
