          Clean Room Collaboration Templates

          Clean Room Collaboration Templates

A collaboration template contains details about the required metadata attributes and the terms of the collaboration. Providers can create custom collaboration templates that support multiple use cases. If you’re a provider using Data 360 clean rooms, you can also use Salesforce-provided templates.

Each use case template contains these components.

          Component Description
Access permissions The functions that each role can perform, such as contributing data, querying, and accessing results.
Metadata The mandatory and optional attributes needed for the use case.
Allowed queries The queries and associated SQL snippets to support the use case. All clean room queries are in SQL.
Results The granularity of the results, and where they’re returned.
Privacy rules The privacy measures, such as minimum thresholds, row-level restrictions, and query limits.
Query Parameters The filters applied on the attributes for added insights, such as segment and date range.
          • Salesforce-Provided Collaboration Templates
Data 360 provides a predefined template to identify segments that overlap. If you’re initiating a collaboration by allowlisting a trusted provider, use the Salesforce-provided collaboration template for the collaboration.
          • Custom Collaboration Templates
Custom collaboration templates are JSON files that providers can create to specify the required metadata attributes and the terms of the collaboration. Custom templates can support multiple use cases and multiple queries under each use case. To create a custom template, copy the sample JSON, specify the field values, and upload the template while creating a package. You can also download the sample JSON from Data 360 Setup when you’re creating the clean room package.
