Create a Data Graph from a Data Kit

Create a Data Graph from a Data Kit

Avoid the time involved in creating a data graph manually by using a data graph from a published data kit. You can deploy a data kit containing data graphs using both managed and unmanaged packages. Changes that you make to the original data graph don’t affect the data graph in the data kit.

          Required Editions

Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          User Permission Set Needed
To create a data graph from a data kit:

          Permission set:

          • Data Cloud Architect
          1. From the App Launcher, search for and select Data Graphs.
          2. Click New, and click Use a Data Kit.
          3. Select a data kit.
Only installed data kits are shown.
          4. Select a data graph from the installed data kit and select Next.
Only data graphs with a primary DMO that matches the data kit data graph's primary DMO are shown. If the data kit data graph’s primary DMO is a unified DMO, the DMO suffixes don’t have to match. For example, the data kit’s data graph has a primary DMO with the API name UnifiedIndividualR1, but only data graphs with the primary DMOs UnifiedIndividualR2 and UnifiedIndividualR3 exist. Then those two data graphs are shown.
You can edit properties, related objects, and fields of new data graphs created from an unmanaged package. These aren't editable for data graphs created from a managed package. All the related objects and fields that the data graph references must exist in your org. If any don’t exist, you must create them or remove them from the data graph.
