Create capping rules to apply to the communication capping activation targets in Data
Cloud. You can create a capping rule in the UI or by uploading a JSON file with the rule
conditions. You can apply rules individually at each parameter level or cumulatively at the
enterprise level.
To create a rule using the UI workflow, select Create from
Scratch.
Click Next.
Configure the rule.
For Start Date and End Date, enter the timeframe for which the rule is valid.
Select the parameter values from the dropdown list.
The available parameters are based on how Communication Capping was set up.
For Frequency, select how often to apply the rule.
Select the limit type.
Profile limits cap communications to individuals filtered by the selected
parameters. Parameter limits apply to channels and other parameter values.
Select the communication channel.
For Limits, enter the maximum number of communications that can be sent through the
selected channel.
Save the rule.
The communication capping rules are created. You can create as many rules as required. You
can edit, delete, or copy a rule by using the dropdown menu in the row.

who has purchased an insurance policy and falls into the Medium net worth category.
