Custom taxonomies allow you to define your own categories and subcategories based on your
specific data, use cases, or business needs. You can create tags, group them into a
hierarchy, and align them with internal policies or specialized regulatory requirements.
Required Editions
Create a tag or classification taxonomy from scratch or copy an existing one.
When you clone a standard or custom taxonomy, all tags or classifications, along
with their hierarchy and associations, are duplicated.
Click New and select the taxonomy type. Or, to clone
an existing taxonomy, click the taxonomy dropdown and select
Clone.
Enter a unique name for your taxonomy and an optional description.
The taxonomy API name is auto-filled based on your taxonomy name, but you
can change it.
Click Save.
