Improve Your Einstein Segment Creation Results in Data 360
What happens if you receive unclear results, or if the results aren’t necessarily what you’re hoping for? Use these suggestions to gain more accurate results.
Refine your metadata with Metadata Studio
Einstein Segment Creation results are optimized with Einstein Data Prism. To get the best results with Data Prism, use the Metadata Studio to review the generated descriptions for objects and fields, enter missing information, and remove obsolete objects from the data source. See Metadata Studio.
Make your prompt specific to your brand
Include terms that you use to describe your brand that might not be common for others outside of your company. For example, if you use a specific customer type, specify this in your prompt, such as “all members who are customer type= NSH”. If you want to include a specific product or website, specify this in your prompt, for example, “customers who engaged with website= “mywesite.com.”
Check whether your prompt is ignoring specific fields
If specific fields are being ignored, try using more brand-specific terms or prepositions to simplify the prompt.
Remove unwanted attributes
If your results contain attributes that you don’t need or want, deselect them so that they aren’t included with your segment.
Use descriptive terms
If you need specific information, use descriptive terms in your prompt. For example, if you want data about active users, specify this in your prompt: “active users who engaged today.”
Broaden your search to increase your population count
If you receive a message that your result will produce a small population, try to broaden your search and focus on the data that you know exists.
