          Create a Salesforce Platform Event Data Action Target

          Send a data action to the core event bus to build a flow application based on a trigger generated in Data 360.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          User Permission Sets Needed
          To create Salesforce Platform Event data action targets:

          Permission set:

          • Data Cloud Architect
          1. In Data 360, navigate to the Data Actions Target tab, and click New.
          2. Choose to create a data action target from scratch or import from data kits and packages.
          3. Enter the data action target name.
            The Action Target API Name field is auto-filled.
          4. Select Salesforce Platform Event for the target type.
          5. Select a Salesforce Org.
          6. Click Save and Publish.

            When you send an event to Salesforce Platform using a data action, Data Cloud defines the standard event DataObjectDataChgEvent and uses it for publishing messages.
