          Metadata Ownership in Connected Orgs

          Metadata Ownership in Connected Orgs

An object is owned by the org in which it originated, even when it's shared with Data 360 or from Data 360 to other connected orgs. You can only edit or delete data in the org that owns it.

The Owned by Connection field identities the org that owns a record using the org’s connection name. You can only modify a record in the org that owns it even if it’s shared in a shared data space.

Records owned by the home org can be referenced by companion orgs that have access to the data space. You can clone records owned by companion orgs, however, but they can’t be referenced by any other orgs, even if they’re in a shared data space.
