Grant or Remove Access to Data Explorer or Profile Explorer
Data Explorer and Profile Explorer are enabled by default for Data 360
admins and data aware specialists. To make them available to users in other roles, or to remove
access from roles that have it by default, create custom permission sets.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then
select Permission Sets.
Clone one of the existing Data 360 permission sets and give it a unique
name. For example, Data Cloud Marketing Manager Data Explorer
Users.
Cloned permission sets grant the same permissions as the set they were cloned from.
Clone different permission sets to match each role your users have in Data 360.
Click Save.
Edit the permissions in your new permission set.
Find the new permission set on the list of permission sets. Click its name.
Click System Permissions, then click
Edit.
To enable access to Data Explorer, select Access Data Cloud Data
Explorer. To enable access to Profile Explorer, select Access Data
Cloud Profile Explorer. If you're removing access, deselect the
permission.
Click Save, then confirm your changes.
Assign the new Data 360 permission set to users.
Click Manage Assignments, then click Add
Assignment. Select the users you want to add this permission to.
Note You can only add users who have a Data Cloud or Data Cloud for Marketing
license.
Click Save.
