          Enrichment Troubleshooting

Diagnose issues with enrichments and fix them.

Data in the org depends on data space, object, mapping, and data ingestion in Data Cloud.

          Blank Related List

If a user complains that a related list is blank, but you can see the data, make sure that they have data space access control for any permission set assigned to them.

If you see that the related list is blank, make sure that you don’t need a key qualifier for your data stream. You only need a key qualifier in the rare case that data from your org is ingested via another system or service and not directly by using the CRM connector.

Data Cloud supports specific date formats. Make sure that you’re using a supported date format.

          Blank Copy Field

If no data is available for the field you’re copying, make sure that:

          • You selected a valid ID matching method. If the criteria you’re using doesn’t matchthe underlying data, then no data is returned.
          • The object and data space configured for it hasn’t changed.
          • The data stream for the objects is connected successfully and ingesting data.
          • You specified the correct key qualifier. You don’t usually require a key qualifier. However, if you specified the wrong key qualifier, it can cause the wrong data to be copied over for a copy field enrichment.

Copy Field Is Copying the Wrong Data

If the copy field isn’t showing data from the correct field, make sure that you specified the correct key qualifier. You only require a key qualifier if you aren’t using the CRM connector to ingest data from your org into Data Cloud. If you specified the wrong key qualifier, it can cause the wrong data to be copied over for a copy field enrichment.

If the copy field isn’t showing the data you expect, for example, it shows cases related to personal purchases, rather than business purchases, make sure you’re using an ID matching method that matches against the correct object.

Copy Field Full Sync is Failing

Make sure that you set the permissions on the Contact or Lead object for the integration user. See Enrich Your Org with 360 Data and Insights for instructions on setting the permissions. After you set the permissions, stop the sync, and then start it again.

          Unexpected Behavior

If your enrichment doesn’t behave as expected and you tried the other troubleshooting steps, make sure that:

          • The object and data space configured for it hasn’t changed.
          • The data stream for the objects is connected successfully and ingesting data.
