When you create a data stream from a data kit in your target org, the data model objects
are available automatically. When adding a data model to a data kit, a custom data model is added
as is. If you’re adding a standard data model, only the custom mappings and custom fields are
packaged.
Before you begin, make sure that the connection to the CRM org is created in the
target org and that all objects referenced by the data stream are in the target org. If an
object isn’t in the target org, you might see an error that the specified object can’t be
found or get an insufficient privileges error.
In Data 360, go to the Data Streams tab.
Click New.
Select Installed Data Kits & Packages and click
Next.
From the installed data kit, select the data stream definition that you want to use.
Select the connected source and click Next.
Select a Salesforce org and a data bundle.
Click Next.
Review and optionally edit your data fields, and then click
Next.
By default, all fields from a data kit are deployed. However, to prevent deployment
errors, you can deselect fields that aren’t in the org or instance using the data kit. A data
kit requires fields with mappings, formula fields, and their source fields to be
deployed.
Click Deploy.
