Manage Data Shares

Create, edit, clone, or delete data shares in Data 360. You can also link or unlink a data share to a data share target.

• Create a Data Share
  Select the Data 360 objects that you want to include in a data share to share with an external system.
• Clone a Data Share
  You can create a data share by cloning an existing one. You can add or remove data objects during cloning.
• Edit a Data Share
  You can add or remove the data lake objects, data model objects, and calculated insights objects in a data share. When you add a Data 360 object to a data share, it’s accessible through the linked data share target. Similarly, when you remove a Data 360object, it’s inaccessible through the linked data share target.
• Link or Unlink Data Shares and Data Share Targets
  Link data shares with a data share target to make them available to an external system. You can also unlink a data share from a data share target.
• Delete a Data Share
  In Data Cloud you can delete an unlinked data share that's no longer needed.
• Delete a Data Share Target
  You can delete unlinked data share targets that you no longer need.
