          • Data Cloud Activation Specialist

Create a Standard Segment in Data 360. Then, schedule it based on your needs.

          Schedule a Standard Publish

          1. After entering the segment details, select Standard Publish for publish type.
          2. For Run Mode, select Schedule.
          3. For Frequency, select how often to publish the segment. You can publish daily, weekly, or monthly.
          4. If you selected Daily frequency, complete these substeps:
            1. Choose 12 hours or 24 hours from the dropdown to set the interval.
            2. Enter the Start Date and Start Time to begin the schedule.
            3. Select the days of the week to run the publish.
            4. (Optional) To set an end date, select At a time, and enter the End Date and End Time.
          5. If you selected Weekly frequency, complete these substeps:
            1. Enter the number of weeks to determine how often to run the publish.
            2. Enter the Start Date and Start Time to begin the schedule.
            3. Select the day of the week to run the publish.
            4. (Optional) To set an end date, select At a time from the End dropdown, and enter the End Date and End Time.
          6. If you selected Monthly frequency, complete these substeps:
            1. Enter the number of months to determine how often to run the publish (up to 24 months).
            2. Choose the day of the month by selecting On day and entering the specific day, or select On last day to schedule it for the last day of the month.
            3. Enter the Start Date and Start Time to begin the schedule.
            4. (Optional) To set an end date, select At a time, and enter the End Date and End Time.
            Note
Note If you select day 29, 30, or 31 for scheduling and the selected month doesn't include that day (for example, February or months with 30 days), the segment publish is skipped for that month.
          7. Save the segment.

          Schedule a Rapid Publish

          1. After entering the segment details, select Rapid Publish for publish type.
          2. For Run Mode, select Schedule.
          3. For Frequency, Daily is selected by default.
          4. Choose one hour or four hours from the dropdown to set the interval.
          5. Enter the From and To time to determine the duration within the day to run the publish.
          6. Enter the Start Date and Start Time to begin the schedule.
          7. Select the days of the week to run the publish.
          8. (Optional) To set an end date, select At a time, and enter the End Date and End Time.
          9. Save the segment.
          Note
Note To ensure your segment's final refresh runs, set the End Time to be after the calculated final refresh time. If your schedule's End Time is identical to a refresh time (for example, a 24-hour refresh ending at T15:00Z and an End Time of T15:00Z), the system prioritizes expiration, and that final refresh is skipped.
          Note
Note When you update the scheduled publish date and time, the Next Publish Date Time field isn't updated immediately on the segment record page. The value is recalculated and updated only after the next publish is complete.

You can view this schedule on the segment details page.
