            Map Your Communication Capping Activation Targets to Parameters

            To apply communication capping to an activation target, you must map the targets to the parameters.

            Required Editions

            Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
            Permission Sets Needed
            To create activation targets and use Communication Capping:

            Any one of these permission sets:

            • Data Cloud Architect
            • Data Cloud Activation Manager
            1. In Data Cloud, click Activation Targets.
            2. Select the activation target.
            3. In the Map Target to Parameters section, click Add.
            4. Select the parameters such as channel, department, and city.
            5. Click Save.

            When you create the activation for communication capping activation targets, the mapped parameters are displayed in the Activation Summary.

            After mapping the targets to parameters, create customer segments and activate them to the communication capping activation targets.
