          Monitor the Event Activity of a Data Action

          Track key metrics for a data action, such as events identified, processed, published, and failed in the Event Activity dashboard. Get enhanced visibility into your data as it moves through the data action pipeline in near real time. This gives you transparency around the volume of events and data delivery.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          User Permission Sets Needed
          To monitor a data action:

          One of these permission sets:

          • Data Cloud Architect
          • Data Cloud Activation Manager
          • Data Cloud Activation Specialist
          1. In Data Cloud, go to the Data Actions tab.
          2. Select a data action and go to the Event Activity tab.
          3. Select the time interval to view events.
            • Events Identified - The approximate number of events for the changes in the primary object on which the data action is created. For example, 1 million records in a Data Model Object (DMO) are changed.

            • Events Processed - The approximate number of events after applying filters set in the data action. For example, 0.5 million records are eligible for action after the filter condition is applied.
            • Events Published - The approximate number of change events published to the data action target. For example, 0.4 million records are successfully sent to the target.

            • Events Failed - The approximate number of events that failed during processing or publishing. For example, 0.1 million records failed due to various publishing issues and weren’t consumed by the customer.

              Metrics shown in the dashboard are based on recent data changes and are approximate. The dashboard doesn't reflect changes that occurred in the last few minutes.
