Convert a Data Cloud Home Org to a Data Cloud One Companion Org
To convert a home org into a companion org, first remove all Data Cloud data from your
org, then connect it as a companion org to a different Data Cloud instance. You can’t convert an
org that has Data Cloud enabled.
Delete or update processes that rely on Data Cloud data.
Processes and features that aren’t updated break when Data Cloud is turned off.
Contact your account executive to exchange your Data Cloud home org license for a Data
Cloud One companion org license.
Note After replacing your Data Cloud home org license, you can't access Data Cloud data,
metadata, configurations and data spaces, though they remain in your org for a grace
period of 120 days. To connect an org as a Data Cloud One companion org, delete all
metadata, data, and data spaces.
Follow the Data Cloud cleanup process to delete all Data Cloud data from your
org.
After your Data Cloud instance and its data have been removed, initiate the connection
from a home org to connect it as a companion org.
