          Add a Data Kit to a Package

          After creating and publishing your data kit in Data 360 source org, add the data kit to a package and upload it using Package Manager in your Salesforce org.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          User Permission Set Needed
          To add a data kit to a package:

          Permission set:

          • Data Cloud Architect

          When uploading a data kit, ensure that source and target DLOs have identical names in both the publisher and target orgs.

          1. In Setup, navigate to Package Manager.
          2. Create a package or select an existing package.
          3. In Components, click Add.
          4. For the Component Type, select Data Package Kit Definition.
          5. Select your standard data kit, and click Add to Package.
          6. To generate your package installation URL, click Upload.
          7. Name your package and click Upload.

          After uploading the package, you can install the package in the target org. Your data kit is now available to install data streams and other components in Data 360.
