          Set a Default Reconciliation Rule

          Set a Default Reconciliation Rule

Set a default reconciliation rule for each object in your identity resolution ruleset. The default reconciliation rule tells the identity resolution process how to select values for all fields in an object.

          1. Navigate to the record home page of your identity resolution ruleset.
          2. Select an object.
          3. To edit the default reconciliation rule for the object, click The Edit icon..
          4. Select a reconciliation rule from the dropdown menu.
          5. Optionally, select Ignore Empty Values.
Identity resolution ignores the Ignore Empty Values selection for key fields.
          6. If you're using Source Priority to select a value, order the data sources so that the highest priority source is at the top of the list. The value selected for the unified field is the value that appears in the highest priority data source.
          7. Click Save.
