Schedule a Calculated Insight in Data 360
Schedule runs of a calculated insight to keep it up to date with data and process new changes in Data 360.

When you create a calculated insight, you can specify the schedule, start date and time, and end date. You can automatically process a calculated insight every 1, 6, 12, or 24 hours. To run a calculated insight manually, select the “Not Scheduled” option and publish the insight from the list view.
Tip If you created a calculated insight before the
availability of the schedule feature, it runs on the previous system schedule of four times
a day.
- In Data Cloud, on the Calculated Insights tab, click New.
- Select a data space. The data space defines the available objects. Only data spaces you have access to are visible in this list.

Select how you want to create the calculated insight.
- Create with Builder
- Select the required objects.
- Add the aggregate node and measure.
- Apply the aggregate node.
- Click Save and Run.
- Enter the calculated insight name, and click Next.
Note: This doesn’t start a run of the calculated insight.
- Create with SQL
- Enter the new insight SQL expression.
- Click Activate.
- Create with Builder

In Schedule, select how often you want the insight to run.
Note: If a run doesn’t complete before the next scheduled run, the calculated insight skips the next scheduled run.

Select the start date and time of the schedule.
Note: If you select a 15-minute time increment, Data 360 updates it to the next 30-minute increment. For example, 4:15 becomes 4:30.Note: The user's time zone determines the calculated insight schedule.
- (Optional) Select an end time.
- Click Enable.

In Data 360, you can change the schedule of calculated insights that are created with a SQL and the builder.
