          Delete Search Index Configurations

          You can delete Data 360 search index configurations from the list view and the object record view.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          User Permissions Needed
          To delete a search index configuration:

          Permission set:

          • Data Cloud Architect

          If you delete a search index configuration, you can no longer use the associated index DMO for vector search.

          You can’t delete a search index configuration if any retrievers reference it. You must first delete all dependent retrievers in AI Models (formerly Einstein Studio), and then delete the search index configuration.

          Delete from List View

          1. From App Launcher, select Data Cloud.
          2. Click Search Index, click the drop-down arrow for the configuration that you want to delete, and select Delete.
          3. Review any dependencies for the configuration, and click Delete.

          Delete from Object View

          1. From App Launcher, select Data Cloud.
          2. Click Search Index, and from the list view, select the configuration that you want to delete.
          3. From the object view, click Delete.
          4. Review any dependencies for the configuration, and click Delete.
