            Edit Search Index Configurations

            If needed, you can edit Data 360 search index configurations to add fields or file extensions for chunking. You can view but not modify other existing settings.

            Required Editions

            Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
            User Permissions Needed
            To edit a search index configuration:

            Permission set:

            • Data Cloud Architect
            1. From App Launcher, select Data Cloud.
            2. Click Search Index > Edit.
            3. From the Guided Setup navigation, click Chunking.
              • To add a file extension to a search index created from an unstructured data model object, click Add File Extension.
              • To add fields to a search index created from a data model object, click Manage Fields and then select one or more fields as needed.
            4. From the Guided Setup navigation, click Review and Build, and then click Save.
