Important The Data 360 org and the OCI tenant must be on the same
instance. Connect only one Data 360 org to one OCI tenant. Connecting more than one Data 360
org to a single OCI tenant results in unexpected behavior.
- From Data Cloud Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Omnichannel Inventory Connector, and then select Omnichannel Inventory Connector.
- In the Omnichannel Inventory Connector setup screen, click Connect.
- Next to the type of connection that you want to make, click Connect.
- Log in to the Omnichannel Inventory instance.
- Allow Data Clloud to connect to Omnichannel Inventory and access the data.
- Review the connection details.
The connection process creates data streams and maps the data source objects to the data model objects (DMO) and establishes the DMO relationships. If the new connection is in an inactive status for longer than two minutes, navigate to the Data Streams workspace and check if the Omnichannel Inventory data streams are in an error state. If so, click Retry on those streams. If the retry fails, delete the data streams, navigate back to the Omnichannel Inventory Connector setup screen, and create a new connection.
