Create a semantic model with a currency field to convert the values into the corporate
currency. To preserve the original value of the measure before conversion, clone the Currency
field as a Number data type field.
In Data Cloud, on the Semantic Layer tab, create a semantic model.
In the Select Data Objects for Semantic Model window, select the data model object that
contains a field of type Currency.
Under Field Name, select the currency field that you want to
add.
A Currency ISO Code field that matches the currency is selected automatically.
Click Create.
To view the field's original value (unconverted currency), select the currency field, then
from the options menu, select Clone as Original Value.
A new field appears with the suffix "(Original)", showing the unconverted value as a
Number data type.
