Marketing Cloud Engagement Starter Data Bundles in Data 360
Marketing Cloud Engagement offers starter data bundles for Email Studio, MobileConnect, MobilePush, and WhatsApp. Data 360 doesn’t support formula fields for Marketing Cloud Engagement data streams.
Email Studio
The Email Studio dataset has email engagement events, such as sends, opens, clicks, bounces, complaints, unsubscribes, and Einstein Engagement Scores. These metrics come from campaign, journey, and email template metadata. In addition to these system-defined tables, the email connector brings in a user-defined data stream called Enterprise Profile Attributes. This data provides demographic context around the subscriber base interacting with the emails.
MobileConnect
The MobileConnect dataset has engagement events, such as sends, delivers, undelivers, opt-ins, and opt-outs. These metrics come from campaign, journey, and message template metadata. MobileConnect engagement data is available at the business-unit level, and data streams relating to this bundle are generated at the business-unit level.
MobilePush
The MobilePush dataset has engagement events, such as sends, opens, displays, undelivers, geofence entries and exits, and Einstein Engagement Scores. These metrics come from campaign, journey, contact point (app), and push template metadata. MobilePush engagement data is available at the business-unit level. Data streams relating to this bundle are generated at the business-unit level.
The WhatsApp dataset has engagement events, such as sends, delivery receipts, opt-ins, and opt-outs. These metrics come from campaign, journey, and message template metadata. WhatsApp engagement data is available at the business-unit level, and data streams relating to this bundle are generated at the business-unit level.
All data streams across Email Studio, MobileConnect, MobilePush, and WhatsApp, except the profile attributes data stream for email, are defined and mapped to the data model for you. You can focus on building and activating segmentation use cases to unlock insights about your data. You can click a data stream created in association with the starter bundle to see a list of raw data fields being ingested. You can also access a read-only view of the mapping between those raw data fields and the Data 360 data model.

When ingesting data from Marketing Cloud Engagement, Data 360 creates data streams and data lake objects (DLOs) for each starter bundle, along with schema and mappings to data model objects (DMOs).
