Create a Target DLO from the Data Lake Objects Tab

Create a Target DLO from the Data Lake Objects Tab

One way to create a new Target Data Lake Object (DLO) is via the Data Lake Objects tab.

          1. On the Data Lake Objects tab, click New.
          2. Decide whether to use an existing DLO as a template or create a new one.
          3. Enter a name and API name.
You can’t change these names after the object is created.
          4. Select the appropriate category for the data in this DLO.
Category selection affects billing and DMO mapping. You can’t change the DLO’s category after it’s created. Learn more about categories in Salesforce Help.
          5. Review the DLO’s status. When the status is Active, you can add it to a streaming data transform.

Once you create your DLO, see Set Up a Streaming Data Transform and follow the steps to create a data transform using an existing DLO as the target object.
