          Delete an Unstructured Data Lake Object

          You can delete unstructured data lake objects (UDLOs) at any time.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          User Permissions Needed
          To delete a UDLO

          Permission set:

          • Data Cloud Architect

          If a UDMO mapped to the UDLO has a search index configuration, you must first delete the search index before you can delete the UDMO and any mappings to it.

          Delete a UDLO Without a Search Index

          Use these steps to delete a UDLO for which you haven’t created a search index.

          1. From App Launcher, select Data Cloud.
          2. Click Data Lake Objects, select the UDLO that you want to delete, and click Delete.
          3. When prompted, review any dependencies, and click Delete.

          Delete a UDLO With a Search Index

          Use these steps to delete a UDLO if you have created a search index from it.

          1. Delete the retrievers associated with the search index.
          2. Delete the search index.
          3. Delete the data model object (DMO).
          4. Click Data Lake Objects, select the UDLO that you want to delete, and click Delete.
