          Update a Data Kit in Data 360

          You can update an existing data kit when you modify Salesforce CRM and B2C Commerce data streams, data models, mappings, and relationships. You can also retrieve and deploy the updated data kit from Data 360 with Package Manager in your Salesforce org.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          User Permission Set Needed
          To update a data kit:

          Permission set:

          • Data Cloud Architect
          1. In your Data Cloud publisher org, click Setup, and select Data Cloud Setup.
          2. Make necessary changes to your Data 360 features that are packaged in a data kit.
            For example, you can add new mappings or modify fields for data streams.
          3. Under Developer Tools, click Data Kits.
          4. Select your data kit, verify the changes made, and click Update.
          5. Create and publish the updated package.
            1. In your publisher org, create a new package version.
            2. To publish the updated package, click Publish.

          Your data kit is updated. Install the package in your subscriber org and deploy the components from the updated package.
