Use Case 3: Set a Hard-Coded Value for the Organization Unit Identifier

This use case sets a hard-coded value for the Organization Unit Identifier in Object Details and allows you to specify a business unit in your Data 360 data.

          Raw DataGoal
Raw data doesn’t have any reference to the business unit, but every row of data comes from the Finance Department. Create the formula field “Business Unit” with the hard-coded value “Finance Department”. Set the Business Unit as the Organization Unit Identifier in Object Details.
          1. For Field Label, enter Business Unit.
          2. Select Text for the Formula Return Type.
          3. In Tranformation Formula, enter “Finance Department” or ’Finance Department'.
          4. Click Save.
          5. Verify that “Business Unit” is added as a formula field.
          6. In the Organization Unit Identifier dropdown, select Business Unit.
