Inform Customers About Your Experience Builder Site Availability
Keep your customers informed when they can’t immediately access your Experience Builder
site. Customizable availability pages describe what’s happening while customers wait for your
site to load. The Service Not Available page lets them know when your site is down. When your
site has higher-than-usual demand, the Too Many Requests page appears.

enabled by default for sites that use enhanced domains. You can also configure custom
domains to use the Salesforce CDN option.
Customize Availability Pages in Experience Builder
You can customize the layout and configure the colors, fonts, images, and sizes for the
pages. Use the HTML Editor and Rich Content Editor to update the content (including
language) and images. The Service Not Available page has its own theme with a customizable
header and footer. The Service Not Available page’s theme is shared with the Too Many
Requests page. Some standard Experience Builder features aren’t available for these pages,
such as SEO settings, public page settings, and progressive rendering. Custom components
aren’t available for these pages.
You have different configuration options, depending on whether you’re using an Aura or LWR
site. If you’re using an LWR site, you can update the page layout from a single column. If
you’re using an Aura site, you can only use a single column for the layout. Audiences and
Page Variations features of Aura sites aren’t available for this page.

Use a Custom Too Many Requests Page for Your Experience Builder Site When your site’s performance is impacted by high traffic, the Too Many Requests page displays a customizable message to let customers know they’ll be redirected momentarily. The page automatically refreshes to check when the site is working and redirects customers to the site when it’s available.
