          Standard Fields Used in Provider Search

          The Care Provider Searchable Field object stores data from the Healthcare Provider and Healthcare Practitioner Facility objects. It improves the speed and scalability of allowing users to search for providers.

          Here’s the set of standard fields in the Provider data model and other standard objects that are already mapped to the Care Provider Searchable Field object.

The Healthcare Practitioner Facility record then connects the facility (HealthcarePractitionerFacility.AccountId) to a practitioner (HealthcarePractitionerFacility.PractitionerId). All source records must be Active.

          • Assign the Permissions Required to Sync Provider Search Data
            Provider Search uses a Data Processing Engine definition to create and refresh data in Care Provider Searchable Field records. To ensure that the definition runs smoothly, assign the required field access to the Analytics Cloud integration and system administrator users.
          • Assign the Permissions Required to Use Provider Search
            To search for providers and view the search results, users need the Health Cloud Provider Search permission set and access to several fields. You must also grant access to the Analytics Cloud Integration User profile, which is used by the Data Processing Engine definition to generate searchable records.
          • Use Custom Fields to Run Provider Searches
            In addition to the standard fields in the Provider data model, you can also run searches for providers using custom fields. To use your custom fields with Provider Search, map them to custom fields in the Care Provider Searchable Field object. You can also create custom fields to set up dependent picklists to help users search more easily.
