Prerequisite: Ensure that the FHIR R4-aligned Clinical data model is enabled.
To learn more, see Clinical Data Model.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Medication Management and Medication
Review Settings, and then select Medication Management and Medication
Review Settings.
Select the checkbox to acknowledge the Medication Management terms of use, and then set
Medication Management to Enabled.
Note Enable Medication Review before enabling Medication Management.
Set To-Do Lists to Enabled.
This setting enables the Care Plan, Care Plan Activity, Care Plan Template, and Action
Plan Template Assignment objects and lets your users assign to-do lists to their patients
during comprehensive medication reviews.
Depending on your organization’s needs:
Assign the Medication Reconciliation for Medication Management permission set to your
users to give them access to Medication Reconciliation.
Assign the Medication Therapy Review for Medication Management permission set to your
users to give them access to Medication Therapy Management.
Note To make sure Medication Reconciliation works smoothly, don't revoke the default Create,
Read, Update, and Delete access on the Medication Reconciliation object.
Now that you’ve enabled Medication Management and assigned the necessary permissions, add the
Lightning component to the relevant pages for your providers and care coordinators to use.
