Give your contracting specialists additional flexibility by providing other payment
types. You can configure custom payment types that meet your organization’s business needs and
contract specifications.
Required Editions

Note Provider Network Management is available in Enterprise and Unlimited editions of Health
Cloud provisioned with the Health Cloud Provider Network Management Add-On license.
User Permissions Needed
To configure custom payment agreement types:
Customize Application
From Setup, open the Object Manager and create a custom object for the new payment
type.
Create custom fields that meet your contracting needs and save your changes.
Go to the Contract Payment Agreement object in the Object Manager.
Click Fields & Relationships, then click Agreement
Type.
Click New and enter a custom picklist value that matches the name of
the custom object you created earlier.
Save your changes.
The configuration is complete and the link between the custom object and picklist
value is established.
The custom payment type is now available for selection from the Agreement Type field of the
Contract Payment Agreement page. Your contracting specialist can use the payment type to define
the payment terms of their contracts.
