The Network Participation Lightning component helps your users view and register
network participations for the providers they onboard. Records created by this component are
stored on the Healthcare Facility Network object. If a contract is specified for the network
participation, then an additional record is created on the Provider Network Contract object as
well.

The Network Participation Lightning component is compatible with the Business Account, Person
Account, and Healthcare Payer Network record pages. The component’s behavior is contextually
determined by the type of the record page it’s added to.
Business Account record pages:
During the registration of new network participations, the participation location references
Healthcare Facility records.
Users can select individual providers associated with the business account’s provider group to
register multiple network participations. A network participation is always registered
for the business account that it's created from.
The component lists network participations filtered by the Business Account record that the
component is viewed from.
Person Account record pages:
During the registration of new network participations, the participation location references
Healthcare Practitioner Facility records.
The process skips the provider selection page and selects the provider of the Person Account
record that's used to create the network participation.
The component lists network participations filtered by the Person Account record that the
component is viewed from.
Healthcare Payer Network record pages:
The New Participation button is hidden and users can’t create network participations from
that record page.
The component lists network participations filtered by the Healthcare Payer Network that the
component is viewed from.
Your users can use the component to record multiple network participations in batches. All
they have to do is select the required practice locations, providers, and networks on the
appropriate pages. However, if multiple locations are selected, then the providers associated
with those locations are automatically selected for registering network participations.
