          Give Authenticated Users Access to Provider Search

          Give authenticated users on your Experience Cloud site a way to search for healthcare providers by specialty, location, and other factors. Create a search page on your site and assign the profile, permission sets, and object access needed to view providers.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud or Life Sciences Cloud and the Health Cloud Customer Community or Health Cloud Customer Community Plus license

          User Permissions Needed
          To create an Experience Cloud site:

          Create and Set Up Experiences

          To assign a permission set license: Manage Users
          1. Use Experience Builder to add a search component to a page on your site. For details, see Add a Provider Search Page to Your Site.
          2. Create a profile for authenticated users on your Experience Cloud site.
            1. Clone the Customer Community Plus User profile.
            2. Create a user record for authenticated users who log in to an Experience Cloud site. For Profile, select the cloned Customer Community Plus User profile.
            3. If your site uses the Criteria-Based Search and Filter component, assign the Criteria-Based Search and Filter for Experience Cloud permission set to the user record.
            4. In the administration workspace for the Experience Cloud site, in Members settings, select All under Select Profles, and move the the cloned Customer Community Plus User profile from the Available Profiles to the Selected Profiles list.
          3. Configure the guest user profile on your Experience Cloud site.
            1. Create a custom permission set that gives read access to the Care Provider Searchable Field object.
            2. In Experience Builder, in General settings, under Guest User Profile, click the profile link.
            3. Click View Users, and then click the guest user profile.
            4. Assign your custom permission set to the guest user profile.
            5. If your site uses the Criteria-Based Search and Filter component, assign the Criteria-Based Search and Filter for Experience Cloud permission set to the guest user profile.
          4. If your site uses the Criteria-Based Search and Filter component and displays search results as cards, configure the guest user profile with access required for cards
            1. Create a custom permission set that gives read access to Omnistudio objects. See Grant Digital Experience Guest Users Omnistudio Access.
            2. Create a custom permission set that gives read access to the Healthcare Provider, Healthcare Practitioner Facility, Member Plan, Operating Hour, and Person Education objects. Also assign read access to the fields used for cards:

            3. In Experience Builder, in General settings, under Guest User Profile, click the profile link.
            4. Click View Users, and then click the guest user profile.
            5. Assign your custom permission sets to the guest user profile.
