Assign the Permissions Required to Use Provider Search
To search for providers and view the search results, users need the Health Cloud Provider Search permission set and access to several fields. You must also grant access to the Analytics Cloud Integration User profile, which is used by the Data Processing Engine definition to generate searchable records.

Assign required permission sets to users.
- Assign the Health Cloud Provider Search permission set or Health Cloud Provider Relationship Management permission set to all Provider Search users.
- If you use Provider Search with Criteria-Based Search and Filter, assign the Criteria-Based Search and Filter permission set to users.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and then select Profiles.
- Select the name of the profile to edit.
- Scroll to the Field-Level Security section, click View next to the Care Provider Searchable Field object, and then click Edit.

Assign Read access to the fields in the Care Provider Searchable
Field object. Then, from the Field-Level Security section, repeat the steps for the
corresponding source object fields as shown in the table:

From Object Settings, go to the Member Plan object and assign Read access to the object
permissions.
This access is required if you use Provider Search with Criteria-Based Search and Filter and the HealthCloudPSProviderCardContainer Omnistudio Flexcard.
- Save your changes.

Repeat for the Analytics Cloud Integration User.
Provider Search uses Data Pipeline definitions with Data Processing Engine to generate the searchable records. The Data Processing Engine includes an Analytics Cloud Integration User profile, which requires Read access on all objects, fields, and custom fields used in Provider search.
- Repeat for additional profiles that need read access.
