Your org includes several standard profiles where you can edit a limited number of
settings. You can assign these standard Salesforce profiles to your users. If you need
custom profiles to extend visibility and provide access to certain objects, clone a standard
profile and edit it to meet your organization’s needs. You can also adjust users’ profiles
to determine their access to fields.

Note When you set up certain features such as Home Health or Advanced Therapy
Management, you will encounter tasks to create specific profiles for users of those
features.
In Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and
then select Profiles.
Select a profile and then click Clone.
Enter a name for the new profile and then click Save.
Configure the new profile per your organization’s requirements and save your
changes.
