          Set Up Calculated Insights

          Set Up Calculated Insights

Calculated insights use the data stored in data model objects to run aggregates and derive scores. You can use either SQL queries or the Calculated Insights Builder to configure the score derivation logic.

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud
          User Permissions Needed
To manage Data 360 Data Cloud Architect permission set

You must wait approximately 30–60 minutes after setting up a data stream and data model object before you can configure a calculated insight.

          1. In the App Launcher, find and select Calculated Insights..
          2. Click New.
          3. Choose how you want to create your insights and click Next.

To learn how to configure calculated insights, see Calculated Insights.

            Important
Important Ensure that you define a measure and dimension for your calculated insight. The measure is the derived score value and the dimension is a reference to the patient record. When you define these attributes, fields are created in that insight to store their values. If you use the Calculate Insights Builder, you define the measure and dimension attributes on the Aggregate element.

That’s it! You’re done configuring Data 360 for Unified Health Scoring.

          Tip
Tip Make a note of the API names of the different calculated insights you set up and their measure and dimension fields. You need this information at a later stage to map score categories to their calculated insights.
