To define a unified health profile, create its score category, classify score ranges,
and define subcategories. If you use Data 360 to calculate scores, also map its category and
subcategories to their calculated insights in Data 360.

Important The use of certain sensitive data such as age, gender identity, or race,
as well as others in the calculation of a Unified Health Score may introduce bias into your
scores and predictions. We suggest you select these attributes thoughtfully, consistent with
your organization's best practices for bias mitigation.
Create a Score Category Create a score category for your unified health profile using the Score Category metadata in Setup.
Classify Score Ranges After you create a score category or subcategory, classify how its score ranges are interpreted. This classification helps your users quickly identify if a score is ‘great’ or ‘concerning’. Consult with your subject matter experts when you decide how to classify different ranges for each type of category.
Create Subcategories Subcategories add depth to a unified health profile by adding information about a score’s subcomponents. You define subcategories using the same Score Category metadata you use to define a score category for your unified health profile. The only difference is that subcategories have a value in their Parent Category field.
Map Categories to Calculated Insights To run the Score Synchronization API, you have to map score categories to their corresponding calculated insights in Data 360. This step isn’t required if you don’t use Data 360 or the Score Synchronization API.
