          Define Provider Statuses for Authorization Requests

          Track the real-time status of each authorization request from submission to approval to make timely, informed decisions on the patient's care. To help your users efficiently use Utilization Management’s workflows, define the required case statuses.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud

          User Permissions Needed
          To add case status: Update on cases
          1. From Setup, open the Object Manager, and click Case.
          2. Select Fields & Relationships, then click Status.
          3. Click New in the Status Picklist Values section.
          4. Enter these authorization request statuses, exactly as shown. Enter each value on its own line.
            • Draft
            • Pended
            • Approved
            • Denied
            • Errored
          5. Save your changes.
            Your users can now easily track the progress of authorization requests.
