          Important This article provides guidelines on potential AWS data region options that customers may use to configure their AWS Chime SDK meeting services in order to meet their specific use case or compliance needs. However, customers are solely responsible for ensuring that the setup, configuration, and usage of any AWS services meets their own legal and compliance requirements (including any customer agreement they have with AWS).

          Amazon Chime SDK meetings have control regions and media regions. Control regions have an API endpoint that is used to create, update, and delete meetings. Media Regions host the actual meetings. Customers can configure their Amazon Chime SDK meeting control regions and media regions using the AWS Chime SDK meetings region options listed in the table. This information is inputted into the Video Visits Configuration.
