Actionable Event Orchestration for Vehicles

Vehicle telematics providers store extensive data from the vehicle sensors of the vehicle and make it available to downstream systems such as Salesforce. You can process a subset of such events that originate in a vehicle and take actions within Automotive Cloud. Use expression sets or Flows to take actions such as creating cases, work orders, and record alerts, or to trigger more complex business workflows such as scheduling appointments, visits, or onboarding new vehicles.

The actionable event orchestration framework helps users define rules and conditions for specific event types and execute the actions for each event. Automotive Cloud exposes an API endpoint for inbound events that can be used by telematics provider companies to send the event data directly to Automotive Cloud. Or, the telematics provider can publish a platform event with the event details.
