Create an Expression Set for Predictive Maintenance
Create an expression set that filters the estimated cost and time required for a repair
based on the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) shared by Qualcomm’s Car to Cloud system via Mulesoft.
The result is shared with the driver in real time based on which the driver can request for
available slots at their nearest service center.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer
Editions.
User Permissions Needed
To create an expression set:
Rule Engine Designer
In the App Launcher, find and select Expression Sets.
Click New.
Enter a name.
For example, Repair Estimate Based on DTC.
Save your changes.
Click Expression Set Versions.
Click New.
Enter a version name.
Enter a version number.
Save your changes.
Click Open in Expression Set Builder.
Drag and drop the Lookup Table element to the canvas.
For Lookup Table Details, select DTC Code Map.
Select DTC Name as an input variable.
Select these as output variables.
Maximum Repair Cost
Minimum Repair Cost
Estimated Time in Days
Drag and drop the Calculation element to the canvas after the
Lookup Table element.
For Formula, enter “USD”.
For Output Variable, select a local variable Currency.
Save your changes.
Activate the expression set.
