          Permissions and Features for Credit Bureau Records

          Review the features that you must enable and the permissions you must assign to use Credit Bureau Records.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.

          Enable these features and assign the permission sets to the relevant user profiles to get started. Before you enable the features as an admin, make sure you have the Automotive Foundation User permission set assigned to yourself and you have the System Administrator profile.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Automotive, and then select Automotive Settings.
          2. Turn on Automotive.
          3. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Lending, and then select Lending.
          4. Turn on Vehicle and Asset Lending.
          5. Assign the Vehicle and Asset Lending permission set to users to give them access to use the credit bureau objects.
          6. Clone and assign the Vehicle and Asset Lending for Partners permission set to partner users to give them access to the credit bureau objects in Experience Cloud sites.
            To set up an Experience Cloud site for your partner users, see Experience Cloud Setup Checklist in Automotive Cloud.
            1. From Setup, enter Permission Sets in the Quick Find box, then select Permission Sets.
            2. Click Clone for the Vehicle and Asset Lending for Partners.
            3. Enter a name and API label and save your changes.
            4. Open the cloned permission set.
            5. Click Object Settings in the Apps section.
            6. Click on the following credit bureau objects, click Edit and make sure at least the required object permissions are enabled.
              • Party Credit Profile Financial Accounts
              • Party Credit Profile Alerts
              • Party Credit Profile Financial Account Activity
              • Party Credit Profile Inquiries
