To ingest vehicle and customer data into Data Cloud, connect your external data source to
Data Cloud. For example, you can bring in data from your telematics providers to analyze vehicle
health and monitor driver performance. You can also bring in data from dealer management systems
and captive finance systems related to customer behavior, revenue and sales history, and financial
information.

Depending on the data source, there are various prebuilt connectors to bring external data into
Data Cloud. Review the Data Cloud documentation and complete the steps to set up and ingest
data.
After you connect your external data source to Data Cloud, create connections to map the
Automotive Data Lake Objects (DLOs) and the Automotive Data Model Objects (DMOs). Before you map
a data object to a data space, review Data Mapping to understand the requirements and DMO
relationships.
