Data Streams and Calculated Insights in the Manufacturing Data Kit
The Manufacturing data kit contains prebuilt data streams and calculated insights and can
be used in the same way as the Automotive data kit. If your company tracks assets other than
vehicles, you can use the Manufacturing data kit. Customize the data streams and calculated
insights as per your requirements.

Most of the data streams in the Automotive and Manufacturing data kits are similar. If
you deploy both data kits in an org, avoid duplication of data by using only one set of data
streams.
Whereas the Manufacturing calculated insights help you analyze and aggregate data
related to all assets, the Automotive calculated insights help you analyze and aggregate data
related to vehicles. If you deploy both data kits in an org, avoid data misinterpretation and
misrepresentation by using only one set of calculated insights because vehicles are a subset of
assets.
