            Set Up Prebuilt Inspection Questionnaire Templates

            Activate the prebuilt inspection templates for using dynamic assessment questionnaires for virtual or on-site inspections. Customize a record page, such as the Vehicle record page, to include Action Plans and the related Omni Assessment Tasks and Assessments. Service inspectors can fill the inspection questionnaires on the Omni Assessment Task pages that store their answers in Assessment records.

            To deploy and use prebuilt dynamic assessment templates: Automotive Foundation User

            Make sure that you have all features enabled for your org before you access the sample inspection questionnaire templates.

            1. Deploy and activate the Omniscripts for the sample templates.
              1. In Setup, find and select Discovery Framework Sample Templates.
              2. Click Deploy for the Vehicle Appraisal Inspection, Vehicle Service Inspection, Asset Service Inspection, and Pre-Delivery Inspection templates.
                This creates an Omni Assessment Task, an Omni Process, and an Omniscript for each inspection with the same name. Each Omni Process is linked to the corresponding template's Omniscript that's created. The Omniscripts are present in the deactivated state.
              3. From the App Launcher, find and select OmniStudio.
              4. In the Omnistudio app, from the navigation bar, select Omniscripts.
              5. Click Activate for the Omniscripts of the four templates mentioned above.
            2. Add the Inspection Questionnaire tab to the Omni Assessment Task page of each inspection template.
              1. From Setup on the Vehicle Appraisal Inspection Omni Assessment Task record, click Edit Page.
              2. Drag the Tabs component onto the page.
              3. In the Tabs component properties, click Add Tab.
              4. Select Inspection Questionnaire as the tab label.
              5. Drag the Omni Process Assessment component onto the Inspection Questionnaire tab.
                The Omniscript associated with the particular Omni Process appears on this tab.
              6. Save your changes.
              7. Click Activation.
              8. Similarly, add the Inspection Questionnaire tab to the Omni Assessment Task page for the Omni Assessment Tasks for the Vehicle Service Inspection, Asset Service Inspection, and Pre-Delivery Inspection templates.
            3. Create an action plan template.
              1. From the App Launcher, find and select Action Plan Templates.
              2. Click New.
              3. Enter a name for the action plan template.
              4. Select Assessment Execution as the action plan type.
              5. In Target Object, select Appraisal Item for Vehicle Appraisal Inspection, Visit for Asset Service Inspection, and Vehicle for Vehicle Service and Pre-Delivery Inspections.
              6. Save your changes.
              7. On the Generic Assessment Tasks related tab, click New Generic Assessment Task.
              8. Select the corresponding Omni Assessment Task for an inspection.
              9. Click Publish Template.
            4. Add the Action Plans tab to a record page and create action plans for an inspection.
              1. From Setup on a Vehicle record, click Edit Page.
              2. Drag the Action Plan List component onto the page.
              3. Save your changes.
              4. Click Activation.
              5. On the Vehicle record page, on the Action Plans tab, click New Plan.
              6. Enter a name for the action plan.
              7. In Action Plan Template, select the corresponding template that you created earlier.
              8. Save your changes.
              9. Similarly, create action plans on the Appraisal Item and Visit record pages as required.
            5. Add the tabs for Omni Assessment Tasks and Assessments to a record page.
              1. From Setup on a Vehicle record, click Edit Page.
              2. Drag the Omni Assessment Tasks and Assessments components onto the related list tab on the page.
              3. Save your changes.
              4. Click Activation.
