Store Your Captive Finance Customers’ Communication Preferences
Store and manage a captive finance customer’s communication preferences for each loan or
lease account. Create Communication Subscription Consent records to store the customer’s consent
for specific communication channels for specific financial accounts. You can store when and how a
customer wants to engage, and the data use purpose such as marketing outreach, payment reminders,
or fraud alerts.

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer
Editions.
User Permissions Needed
To manage communication preferences:
Create on Communication Subscription Consent object.
To use financial account as the business context for a Communication Subscription Consent,
enable Vehicle and Asset Finance.
Add details about how a customer has agreed to be contacted by your company. For example, a
customer wants to be contacted only by email.
Add details about a customer’s consent to be contacted via a specific contact point. For
example, an email address where the customer agrees to receive monthly lease payment
statements.
Add details about a customer’s consent via a specific contact point for a specific
financial account. For example, a customer wants to only receive phone calls for his lease
account but prefers email communication for a loan account.
