          Submit Vehicle Loan and Lease Applications As an Agent

          Financial agents at a captive finance or a banking organization can use the Agent Assisted Application Management app to submit loan and lease applications on behalf of customers. Customers often call service centers when they need the expertise of agents or when they aren't able to submit applications themselves. Agents can quickly gather information from the customers and use the intake form to fill out the details and upload the required documents. Agents can also discuss the recommended offers with customers and modify the application before submission.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.
          User Permissions Needed
          To submit applications as an agent: Use Vehicle and Asset Lending Agent-Assisted Application user permission

          Make sure the admin has set up the financial products such as automotive loans and leases by using Product Catalog Management.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Agent Assisted Application Management.
          2. Go to the Products tab.
            You can also go to the Catalogs tab to browse the product categories and products.
          3. On the Products page, select a product record.
            On the product detail page review FAQs, product details, and related records.
          4. Click Start Application.
            1. Enter the vehicle details such as the make name, model name, model year, trim level, registration area ZIP code, and registration city.
            2. Click Next.
            3. Enter the financial details such as the term of the loan or lease, downpayment amount, and requested amount. Enter the estimated trade-in value for used vehicles.
            4. Click Next.
            5. Search for a preferred dealership based on the dealer's name, city, or ZIP code.
            6. Click Next.
            7. Enter the personal information, identity information, and contact information of the customer.
            8. Click Next.
            9. Enter the address information of the customer.
            10. To add other addresses, click Add.
            11. Click Next.
            12. Enter the employment information of the customer.
            13. Click Next.
            14. Specify whether the applicant has any other sources of income to report.
            15. If Yes, specify the type of income, frequency, and amount.
            16. To add other income sources, click Add.
            17. Click Next.
            18. Specify whether the applicant has a regular source of expense to report.
            19. If Yes, specify the type of expense, frequency, and amount.
            20. To add other expense sources, click Add.
            21. Click Next.
            22. Specify whether the applicant wants to add co-applicants for the loan or lease, or not.
            23. If Yes, specify all details for a co-applicant similar to the primary applicant.
            24. To add more co-applicants, click Add.
            25. Click Next.
            26. Upload documents for applicants and co-aplicants.
              The financial managers can configure the document types for which you must upload the documents. For example, identity proof, tax return proof, and salary proof.
            27. Click Next.
            28. To allow a screening of the applicant, select I agree to the soft credit check.
            29. Click Next.
            30. Select one of the offers that are generated based on the information provided so far.
            31. To recalculate the terms and generate better offers, modify the vehicle and finance details, and click Recalculate Offers.
            32. Click Next.
            33. Review the disclosures and click I Agree when ready.
            34. Click Next.
            35. Review a summary of the application and verify all the details you've provided.
            36. Click Previous to go back and modify the details.
          5. Click Submit Application.
            The agent can share the application reference number with the customer and track the status.
