          How Is Application Intake Information Represented In Automotive Cloud

          Learn how different financial records are created during a loan or lease application intake process in Automotive Cloud. When a customer submits an application or an agent submits an application on behalf of the customer, the information is stored in multiple records that the underwriter refers to during the decisioning process.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.

          Party Profile

          Personal details specified by the applicant are stored in the Party Profile record. Key information captured from the intake form includes:

          • First Name
          • Last Name
          • Middle Name
          • Primary Email
          • Primary Phone
          • Taxpayer Identification Type
          • Taxpayer Identification Number
          • Date of Birth
          • Nationality

          You can capture other details such as Gender, Domicile Country, or Resident Type based on your requirements. See Party Profile for details.

          Party Credit Profile

          When applicants provide consent for a credit check on the Allow Soft Credit Check page of the intake form, the details are captured in the Party Profile record. Key information captured from the intake form includes :

          • Credit Bureau Name
          • Credit Score
          • Credit Score Date

          You can capture other details such as Total Exposure Amount based on your requirements. See Party Credit Profile for details.

          Party Income

          Expense details specified by the applicant are stored in the Party Expense record. Key information captured from the intake form includes:

          • Income Type
          • Income Amount
          • Income Source
          • Income Frequency

          Party Expense

          Expense details specified by the applicant are stored in the Party Expense record. Key information captured from the intake form includes:

          • Expense Type
          • Expense Amount
          • Expense Frequency

          Person Employment

          Employment details specified by the applicant are stored in the Person Employment record. Key information captured from the intake form includes:

          • Occupation
          • Employment Type
          • Employer Name
          • Employment Start Date
          • Employment End Date

          You can capture other details such as Employer Country, Employer Contact Number, and more based on your requirements. See Person Employment for details.

          Applicant

          Personal details specified by the applicant are stored in the Applicant record. For each applicant, a separate record is created based on the role of the applicant, such as Primary applicant, co-applicant, co-signer, or guarantor. Key information captured from the intake form includes :

          • First Name
          • Last Name
          • Middle Name
          • Primary Email
          • Primary Phone
          • Salutation

          Application Form Product

          Finance details specified by the applicant are stored in the Application Form Product record. Depending on the products you set up in Product Catalog Management such as Automotive Loan or Automotive Lease, a record is created. Key information captured from the intake form includes :

          • Product
          • Down Payment
          • Requested Term
          • Requested Monthly Payment
          • Requested Amount

          You can also capture additional information such as Disbursement Method, Total Brand Owned Item Amount, Total Vendor Owned Item Amount, and Ownership Type. See Application Form Product for details.

          Application Form Seller Item

          Vehicle details specified by the applicant and the preferred dealer selected by the applicant are stored in the Application Form Seller Item record. If you customize the intake process to allow multiple products to be financed via a single application, each item is represented as a seller item, such as batteries or electric chargers with vehicles. Key information captured from the intake form includes :

          • Make Name
          • Model Name
          • Intended Use
          • Vehicle Identification Number
          • Item Condition
          • Mileage
          • Trim
          • Seller
