            Create Financial Products for Vehicle and Asset Lending

            Model loans and leases for vehicles and assets as products in Automotive Cloud. You can create separate products for vehicle loans, vehicle leases, accessory loans, and accessory leases. When customers apply for a loan or lease, they select a financial product that you’ve set up.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.
            User Permissions Needed
            To create products: Product Catalog Management Designer permission set

            Make sure your admin has added the Based On field to the Product record page layout.

            1. From the App Launcher select Product Catalog Management, and then click Products.
            2. From the product list view page, click New.
            3. Enter a name and description for the product.
              For name, you can enter Automotive Loan.
            4. Enter a product code.
            5. Select None under Product Type.
            6. To make the product available for purchase, select Active.
            7. For the Based On field, select a product classification that this product is based on.
            8. For Display URL, enter an image URL.
              This image is displayed to the customers and agents during the intake process for a loan or lease application.
            9. Save your changes.
            10. Repeat the steps to create another financial product such as Automotive Lease.
